Alameda County Medical Center is committed to providing exceptional patient care. In this section, you can watch videos featuring our patients and their families talking about the lifesaving care they received in many different areas of the Medical Center. You will see videos highlighting a family whose daughter was saved by our Trauma Center after a devastating automobile accident, a young woman from our Skilled Nursing Facility being treated for multiple medical conditions, and a patient who recovered from a debilitating stroke at our Fairmont Acute Rehabilitation Center and now volunteers there to assist other patients in their recovery.

More Awards for Rapid Triage Program

Alameda County Medical Center's Emergency Department at Highland Hospital has won the Innovations in Healthcare "ABBY" award from the Adaptive Business Leaders organization. The award, for the Rapid Evaluation and Accelerated Care at Triage ("REACT") project, follows similar accolades from the National Association of Public Hospitals and the California Association of Public Hospitals.
